1. What this page covers
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Related technologies —localStorage and session storage — do the same job and are covered here too. This page lists everything this site stores on your device.
2. Cookies used on the public pages
The public pages — the homepage, the class pages, the blog, and the legal pages — load no third-party scripts and set no third-party cookies. The only thing stored is:

This is a technical preference you set yourself. It is exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE, it is never read by anyone but your own browser, and it is not used to identify or track you.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
This site does not use analytics, advertising, remarketing, social plugins or any other non-essential tracking. Because nothing here requires your consent, showing a consent banner would be asking permission for something that is not happening.
If that ever changes — if we add analytics, for example — a proper consent banner will appear first, non-essential cookies will not load until you accept, and refusing will be as easy as accepting.
4. Cookies used once you sign in
Creating an account and using the student dashboard requires cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for. They are exempt from consent for the same reason, but you should know they exist:

Payments are taken on Stripe's own checkout pages. Any cookie set there is set by Stripe under its own policy, on its own domain, and is not readable by this site.
5. How to remove them
Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Deleting the strictly necessary cookies listed above will sign you out; the site will still work, but you will need to sign in again to reach your dashboard.
